I’m Nerina, and I’m not a sobriety guru.
I did not look like someone who needed to stop. I looked like a high-stress professional who worked hard, kept the plates spinning, and deserved a drink at the end of the day. Life carried on. Nobody thought I was falling apart.
That was the problem. Being very capable makes it incredibly easy to hide what the habit is actually costing you.
Wine was my off-switch. It was there when the work was done and I needed my head to go quiet or to let off some steam. But while it looked completely ordinary to everyone else, I knew it was taking up too much room. I didn't stop because I hit rock bottom. I stopped because I was exhausted.
I was tired of the mental gymnastics and the heavy shame of broken morning promises. I was tired of the quiet and corrosive impact those promises were having on my relationships. I knew exactly what it felt like to be a little too eager to accept after-work drinks, and I knew the familiar regret of leaving the function two or three glasses too late. The sheer amount of energy it took to defend a habit I kept calling "normal" was draining the life out of me.
I know the woman who is too functional to be interrupted. I know her because I was her.
My clients are praised for how well they cope. They manage demanding jobs, run businesses, and handle their families. That competence is the perfect armour for a drinking habit, because nobody ever stops to ask if they are okay.
My job is to help you dismantle that armour. We will not sit around using therapy speak, and I will not hand you a label that does not fit.
I am a trained sober life and positive psychology coach (certified through Janey Lee Grace and Andy Ramage), and I have spent the last eight years sober. My experience means I understand the private reality of your 6pm negotiations. My training means I know exactly how to get you out of them.
When I tell you there is a method, I am not guessing. I have done the work on myself, and I am doing the work to coach you well.
Lived it. Then trained for it.
About me:
Plant-based, and mildly too invested in getting enough protein.
Up early. My best thinking happens before the rest of the world is awake.
Slightly obsessed with wire-haired dachshunds and trees. I will not apologise for either.
I have a full-on day job in central London, which is exactly why I built this for women who are holding everything together and still quietly questioning the wine.
My approach
I didn't build Rock Sobriety on theory. I built it because I beat the exhausting cycle of daily drinking, and then mastered the positive psychology to stay free. Let me be clear upfront: I don't teach moderation, because moderation is a myth. Working with me means going 100% alcohol-free. That is non-negotiable.
So, you choose
If you are ready to stop negotiating and get your edge back, you have two choices. For the woman who wants the deep dive, not just to get the wine out, but to build the life architecture and purpose that comes after, we take the direct route: ninety days, one-to-one. Or, if you have already made the decision and just need sharp, concentrated support to turn it into action, we do the Focused Six. No fluff. No labels. Just the strategy to take your life back.
