What we offer
Rock Sobriety provides alcohol-free coaching for capable women who are done with the nightly wine habit. Our services currently include:
One-to-one coaching packages of differing lengths, built around the core Rock Sobriety Method.
Supporting digital materials, such as guides, workbooks and pre-recorded content.
A free newsletter and waitlist, delivered by email.
Where these Terms refer to "your package" or "the package", they apply to whichever one-to-one coaching package you have purchased, unless a specific package is named.
Important disclaimer: we do not provide medical advice
Nerina is a qualified positive psychology coach and a trained sober/ alcohol-free coach. She is not a doctor, psychologist, psychiatrist, addiction therapist, or any other licensed healthcare professional, and nothing provided by Rock Sobriety is medical treatment.
Our coaching, membership, emails, videos, worksheets and any other materials are intended to inform, support and encourage you as you make your own lifestyle changes. They are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological or addiction care, and they are not a diagnosis, treatment, detox programme or cure for any condition.
If you are physically dependent on alcohol or any other substance, or you are concerned about your physical or mental health, contact your GP or a qualified healthcare provider before making any significant changes. Never stop or reduce alcohol intake against medical advice, and never discontinue prescribed medical care on the basis of anything we provide. Always seek professional advice first.
You are solely responsible for your own health decisions and for how you use our materials. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss, injury or claim, financial or otherwise, arising from your reliance on our content or from your involvement with any of our services. We cannot and do not guarantee any particular outcome, result or improvement.
Booking and Payment
Booking and payment
One-to-one coaching is sold as a fixed-length package. It is booked as one commitment, not session by session. When you sign up, you are reserving my time and capacity for you across the full length of the package you have chosen.
You may pay in full up front, or by an interest-free instalment plan where one is offered:
The Rock Sobriety Method (90 days): pay in full, or in 3 equal monthly instalments.
The Focused Six (6 weeks): pay in full, or in 2 equal monthly instalments.
Instalments are simply a way to spread the cost of the one agreed package price. They are interest-free, with no added fees or charges. By choosing an instalment plan, you are still committing to the full package and its total price.
If you pay by instalments:
You agree to pay each instalment on the agreed dates until the full package price is paid.
If a payment is missed, I may pause your coaching until your account is brought up to date. Any pause of this kind does not extend your package length.
If you cancel after your 14-day cooling-off period has ended, or you stop paying, the remaining balance of the package you committed to becomes due. This is the outstanding package price only. No penalty or extra charge is added.
Your statutory 14-day cancellation right always applies first and takes priority over the instalment plan. If you cancel within the 14 days, the cancellation and refund terms below apply, not the instalment schedule.
Your 14-day cancellation right
Because you buy online, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of signing up, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. This period starts the day after you enter into the agreement. You do not need to give a reason. To cancel, email nerina@rocksobriety.com within 14 days stating that you wish to cancel.
If you have not yet started your coaching, you will receive a full refund.
If your coaching starts within the 14 days
The package usually begins straight away, often with your deep-dive first session inside the 14-day window. If you ask to start within this period and then cancel before the 14 days are up, you will be refunded what you paid, less a fair amount for the coaching and support already provided up to the date you cancel. By choosing to start early, you agree to this.
Before your first session you will be asked to confirm:
"I want my coaching to begin now, within my 14-day cooling-off period. I understand that if I cancel during this period, my refund will be reduced by a fair amount for the coaching and support already provided."
After the 14-day period
Once the 14-day cancellation period has ended, the package is non-refundable. You are committing to the full length of your package, and your place and my time are reserved for you. This does not affect your legal rights if the coaching is not carried out with reasonable care and skill.
Rescheduling
Session times are agreed between us. If you need to reschedule, please give reasonable notice (minimum 4 hours) so the time can be reallocated. Sessions missed or cancelled with less than 4 hours notice are treated as delivered and cannot be refunded or guaranteed a rebooking within the length of your package.
How refunds are paid
Any refund due will be paid within 14 days of the date you tell me you are cancelling, to the same payment method you used.
Pausing your coaching
Coaching works best without long breaks, because momentum is what makes it work. I understand that life happens, so pauses may be agreed, with the amount of pause available depending on the length of your package.
For the ninety-day Rock Sobriety Method package, you may pause up to two times:
One planned pause for a holiday, agreed in advance, lasting up to 2 weeks.
One unplanned pause for a genuine life event (for example illness, bereavement, or a family emergency), lasting up to 4 weeks.
For shorter packages, such as the six-week Focused Six, you may take one pause of up to 1 week for a genuine reason, agreed in advance.
When a pause is agreed:
Your remaining sessions and support are held for you and resume on an agreed restart date. Your programme window extends by the length of the pause.
A pause is a hold, not a refund. No part of the package is refunded for paused time.
If you do not restart by the agreed date, your coaching resumes automatically so the package can still be completed.
Pausing is not a way to cancel. Your legal 14-day cancellation right is unaffected, and after that period the package remains non-refundable whether paused or active.
Refunds and cancellations: general
Digital content and downloads
Where you buy digital content (for example a downloadable guide, workbook, or pre-recorded module) and you ask to access or download it immediately, you agree that your 14-day right to cancel is waived once access begins, and no refund will be due for that content.
How refunds are paid
Any refund due to you will be paid within 14 days of the date you tell us you are cancelling, to the same payment method you used to pay.
Statutory rights
By purchasing a one-to-one coaching package and choosing to begin before the end of the statutory 14-day cancellation period, you expressly request that the service starts immediately and you acknowledge that you will pay a fair amount for any coaching and support delivered if you then cancel. For digital content and materials, your right to cancel is lost once you have been given access.
Confidentiality
Everything you share with me during our coaching is treated as private and confidential. I will not disclose your personal information, your story, or anything discussed in our sessions to anyone without your permission.
I will only use your personal information to deliver your coaching and to contact you about our work together, in line with UK data protection law and our Privacy Policy below. I will not sell or share your details with third parties for marketing.
There are limited situations where I may have to break confidentiality, even without your consent:
Where I reasonably believe there is a risk of serious harm to you or to someone else.
Where a child or vulnerable adult may be at risk.
Where I am required to disclose information by law or by a court.
Wherever possible and safe to do so, I will talk to you first before sharing anything.
I will never share your name, story, or any identifying details publicly without your clear, written permission. If you choose to give a testimonial, we will agree together on exactly what is shared and how.
Any materials, resources, or content I share with you as part of your coaching are for your personal use only and should not be copied, shared, or resold.
Ending the coaching relationship
I want every client to feel safe and supported. In rare circumstances I may need to end the coaching relationship, for example if there is abusive or threatening behaviour, or if I believe coaching is no longer appropriate or safe for you. If I end the relationship for reasons that are not your fault, I will refund a fair amount for any coaching time you have paid for but not yet received.
You may end the relationship at any time, subject to the cancellation and refund terms above.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with any part of your experience, please tell me first. Email nerina@rocksobriety.com setting out your concern and I will respond and do my best to put things right. Most issues can be resolved quickly and directly.
Limitation of liability
We make no guarantees, representations or warranties of any kind with respect to the coaching and materials provided. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, consequential or special loss. Our total liability to you under or in connection with these Terms will not exceed the amount you have actually paid to us for the service in question. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Your emails and marketing
When you join the waitlist, subscribe to the newsletter, or tick the email consent box on our contact form, you agree to receive emails from Rock Sobriety. We do not send unsolicited email and we only email people who have given us their email address and consented.
