DONE PRETENDING THE WINE IS WORKING?

You're not rock bottom. That’s why it has been so easy to ignore.

Wine is there most nights. You tell yourself you will take a break, then you find another reason to pour.

You're a smart, capable woman who looks fine on the outside and knows something's off on the inside.

So if you’re fed-up with how much room alcohol is taking up in your head and in your life, then I can help you.

This is private coaching, one to one, for the woman who is not in trouble and is still not okay with it.

You’re not broken. You’re exhausted.

The ‘wine o’clock’ illusion

Wine is the switch. It ends the working day, because nothing else does. What started as a reward for surviving the day has become an exhausted daily requirement just to numb the noise.

The functioning facade

On paper you are doing well. Nobody who knows you would put you and a drinking problem in the same sentence, which is exactly why nobody asks. Behind closed doors, you are silently negotiating with yourself every morning about how much you drank the night before.

The willpower burnout

You have tried the rules. Weekdays only. Two glasses. Nothing before seven. You have probably written one down. The rules work for about nine days, and then there is a Thursday you did not see coming and the whole system quietly folds, and you tell yourself you will start again Monday. You are not undisciplined. You are running a strategy that was never going to hold, and then blaming yourself when it does not.

Be honest for a second

Most women cannot tell you what they want. Only that they are tired of this.

So here it is in plain terms. These are the small ordinary things you have quietly stopped expecting, and none of them would ever make it onto a vision board.

Read the first list and count the ones you recognise. If you get past four, you already have your answer.

What you want

None of it is dramatic. That is rather the point.

  • To stop counting the bottles before you put the recycling out
  • To go to bed without adding up what you drank
  • To sleep through the night instead of waking at 3am with your heart going
  • To get to six o'clock without the conversation starting in your head
  • To sit through a dinner without watching how fast the bottle is going down
  • To get through the after-school hour without your fuse going
  • To do up the jeans at the back of the wardrobe
  • To stop carrying something you have never said out loud to anyone
  • To believe yourself the next time you say you are going to stop

What you don't want

This is the part that has kept you where you are.

  • Telling everyone what you are doing
  • Sitting in a circle calling yourself an alcoholic
  • Taking on a label that does not fit you
  • Giving up every party for the rest of your life
  • Starting another set of rules that folds by the second week
  • Answering questions about it at every dinner table
  • Being the boring one in the group
  • Making sobriety your entire personality
  • Waiting until something bad enough happens to justify it

Nothing on either list needs your life to fall apart first.

How we actually do it.

How we actually do it.

Putting the glass down is the part everyone talks about. The harder job is building something underneath it, so your clear life is held up by more than willpower.

  • Rest: Stop treating bone-tired exhaustion as normal and start rebuilding actual, restorative sleep.

  • Fuel: Eat properly enough that week two does not knock you over.

  • Body: Wine has been doing the job your body should be doing. We give it back.

  • Connection: Take a hard, honest look at the people, places, and expectations that keep you stuck in the same drinking loop.

  • Stillness: Learn how to finish a stressful Tuesday without needing to numb out and disappear from your own life.

  • Purpose: You are spending an enormous amount of thinking on a habit that gives you nothing back. That thinking is yours.

Wine does not stay in its lane. It bleeds into your sleep, your patience, your relationships, and how you see yourself in the mirror.

Both coaching options work through all six foundational pillars. In the Focused Six we move through them at pace and keep it practical, so you finish with something that holds. In the ninety-day Method each one gets proper time, which is what stops you drifting back once the novelty has worn off.

Private coaching, one to one

Two ways to work with me.

Both fully alcohol-free. Both just you and me.

The Rock Sobriety Method

Ninety days

For the woman who is still arguing with herself about stopping. That argument is the actual work, and this is where we finish it.

The Focused Six

Six weeks

For the woman who has already decided and wants someone hard to lie to while she follows through.

See how we work together

Read both properly. One of them is wrong for you.

Not ready for coaching?

Start with the free 6pm Plan. One page telling you what to do tonight between six and ten, then seven short emails, one each afternoon before six.

“You do not have to wait until it looks worse. If your nightly wine is costing you more than you want to admit, you already have enough information to take it seriously.”

About Nerina

I DID NOT LOOK LIKE SOMEONE WHO NEEDED TO STOP
I looked like someone who worked hard and deserved a drink.

There was no rock bottom. There was no intervention. I kept the plates spinning, my career moving, and my life looking perfectly respectable from the outside. That was the problem. Being highly capable makes it incredibly easy to hide what the habit is actually costing you.

Eight years later, I know this for a fact: you do not have to wait for visible damage before taking your own discomfort seriously.

I am a trained sober life and positive psychology coach, certified through Janey Lee Grace and Andy Ramage.

HOW I COACH
I will be in your corner, but I will never help you make your excuses sound reasonable. You are not doing this to impress me. Clear the noise and you get back to trusting your own decisions.

This is coaching for grey-area & middle-lane drinkers.

Rock Sobriety is designed for women who are functioning but fed up. You may drink most nights, spend too much time thinking about wine or keep failing at the rules you set for yourself.

This coaching is not addiction treatment, detoxification or medical care. If you are concerned that you may be physically dependent on alcohol, speak to your GP or an appropriate medical service before stopping.

You have been managing this for years. Managing is not the same as deciding.
